No, attendees are responsible for booking their own flights and airport transfers.
Are food and drinks included?
Most nursing getaways do include food and drinks, but inclusions vary by destination. Trip-specific details are provided prior to registration.
When is the seminar held?
Seminars are typically held the full day after arrival, allowing you to relax and enjoy the rest of your trip. The schedule may vary depending on the destination and topic.
Are refunds available?
A full refund will be issued if cancellation occurs 92 days or more prior to the getaway date. Refunds are not guaranteed after this deadline.
Do I have to stay at the resort where the seminar is held?
No, staying at the host resort is not required. However, seminar tuition remains the same, and if you stay elsewhere, you are responsible for making your own lodging arrangements.
Can I use tuition reimbursement for this nursing getaway?
Many employers offer tuition reimbursement that can be applied.
Eligibility and reimbursement amounts vary by employer, so we recommend checking with your HR, education department, manager, or collective bargaining agreement.
Will I receive documentation for tuition reimbursement?
Yes, attendees will receive a CEU certificate upon seminar completion and payment receipts needed to submit for tuition reimbursement.
Can you help me with tuition reimbursement paperwork?
We can provide supporting documentation and guidance, but submission and approval are ultimately the responsibility of the attendee.
Who can receive CEUs from the nursing getwaway?
Our nursing getaways are designed for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) practicing in California.
Nurses licensed in other states may also be eligible if their state board accepts California Board–approved CEUs. We recommend confirming eligibility directly with your state board of nursing prior to registration.
How many CEUs will I earn?
The number of CEUs varies by seminar.
Specific CEU details are provided on each getaway’s information page.
Are the CEUs accredited?
Yes, all continuing education (CE) hours are provided by CritRN LLC, an approved provider by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP18013.
What happens if the gateway sells out before the deadline?
Once guaranteed spots are filled, registration becomes availability-based, even if the published deadline has not yet passed
