Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between Oasis Healthcare Education LLC (“Oasis,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and any individual or entity that accesses our website, registers for, or attends any Oasis event (collectively, “you” or “Attendee”). By accessing the website, registering for an event, or otherwise using Oasis services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services; Continuing Education

Oasis provides live, in-person continuing education (“CE”) seminars and workshops for healthcare professionals at various venues in the United States and select international destinations. Participants may receive accredited continuing education contact hours if such credit is expressly advertised for the specific event and upon completion of required seminar activities. Event descriptions, inclusions, and CE availability are stated in the applicable event marketing materials, which are incorporated by reference into these Terms.

3. Eligibility and Attendance; Guest Policy

3.1 Eligibility. Registration and attendance at Oasis seminars are limited to licensed healthcare professionals. Proof of active licensure may be required at registration or check-in. Oasis may cancel any registration that does not comply with eligibility criteria.

3.2 Guest Policy. Single-occupancy packages may allow a non-participating guest who shall not attend educational sessions and shall not claim CE credit. Double-occupancy packages, when offered, are designated for professional Attendees only; registrants assigned to double-occupancy accommodations may not bring any additional guests. Violation of this policy may result in cancellation of registration without refund.

4. Pricing, Inclusions, and Travel

4.1 Inclusions. Event pricing and inclusions vary by seminar and are set forth in the event marketing materials. Unless specified otherwise, Oasis events are hosted at all-inclusive venues and registration fees generally include educational programming, lodging, and amenities provided by the venue.

4.2 Travel Responsibility. Airfare and all travel arrangements to and from the event destination are the sole responsibility of the Attendee. Oasis is not responsible for any travel-related expenses, delays, or disruptions.

4.3 Third-Party Providers. Certain services (e.g., lodging, food and beverage, transportation, excursions) may be provided by independent third parties. Oasis is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or negligence of third-party providers and does not control their operations.

5. Registration and Payments

5.1 Payment in Full. All event registrations must be paid in full at the time of booking.

5.2 Payment Processors. Payments are processed through third-party processors integrated with our website platform (which may include Stripe, PayPal, Adyen, and others). We may add or remove processors at our discretion. You authorize Oasis and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method for all amounts due.

5.3 Taxes and Fees. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, currency conversion costs, banking or card fees associated with your registration.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

6.1 Attendee Cancellations. Each event has a specified refund deadline displayed during registration and in the initial confirmation email. Cancellations received on or before the published deadline are eligible for a 100% refund. After the deadline, all sales are final and nonrefundable.

6.2 Transfers and Credits. Funds are not transferable and may not be applied to future events unless Oasis provides written approval on a case-by-case basis.

6.3 Oasis Cancellations. If Oasis cancels an event, registrants will receive a 100% refund of amounts paid to Oasis for registration. Oasis is not responsible for costs outside of registration (including without limitation airfare, ground transportation, or independent lodging).

6.4 Force Majeure. Oasis shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, weather, public health emergencies, labor disputes, war, terrorism, governmental actions, or venue unavailability (“Force Majeure”). In a Force Majeure event, Oasis may modify, postpone, or cancel an event. Remedies may include rescheduling or refunds of registration amounts at Oasis’s discretion subject to applicable law.

7. Code of Conduct

Attendees must act professionally and respectfully. Oasis may remove any person who engages in harassment, disorderly conduct, or violations of law or venue rules. Removal for cause does not entitle the Attendee to a refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All content presented at Oasis events or on the Oasis website—including lectures, slides, workbooks, recordings, and trademarks—is the intellectual property of Oasis or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, record, stream, or create derivative works from such content without prior written permission.

9. No Medical Advice

Content is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Attendees remain solely responsible for professional judgment and for compliance with their employer’s policies, licensure, and applicable law.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oasis provides the website, events, and services “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Oasis, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, or instructors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to the website, an event, or these Terms. In no event shall Oasis’s aggregate liability exceed the total amount paid by you to Oasis for the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Oasis from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your violation of law or third-party rights; or (c) your conduct at or in connection with an event.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be effective when posted with an updated “Last Updated” date.

14. Modifications

Oasis may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be effective when posted to the website with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the website or attendance at events after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law; Arbitration

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating hereto shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any controversy or claim shall be resolved exclusively by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be held in Sacramento County, California, before a single arbitrator. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Each party shall bear its own attorneys’ fees and costs unless otherwise required by law.

16. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver. You may not assign these Terms without Oasis’s prior written consent. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Oasis regarding the subject matter herein.

17. Educational/Medical Disclaimer

All content, materials, and discussions provided by Oasis Healthcare Education LLC are intended solely for educational purposes. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Attendees are responsible for exercising professional judgment and complying with applicable licensure, employer policies, and laws when applying information obtained through Oasis seminars or materials.

Oasis, its instructors, and affiliated partners disclaim any liability for outcomes resulting from the use or misuse of information presented. If you have questions about a specific patient case, consult appropriate medical professionals and institutional policies.
